Privacy Notice

The seller's legal business name is Lécaude ("we", "us"). Lécaude operates the Lécaude service and is the data controller for the personal data described here — we decide why and how it is processed.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
• Business and invoice data (company name, address, logo, rates, time entries, client names, emails and addresses you enter) — to provide the service. Basis: contract.
• Support messages — to help you. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser identifiers, usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the product. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing emails, if you opt in. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw anytime.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host and run our infrastructure, under contract;
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling subscriptions, managing billing, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants;
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Use the contact address below and we'll respond within one month. You can export your data or delete your account from Account settings.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and per-account data isolation.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and the app working. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser settings, but you'll be signed out.
