Terms & Conditions

Legal seller

The seller's legal business name is Lécaude ("we", "us"). Lécaude operates the Lécaude time-tracking and invoicing service. When you use the service, you are contracting with Lécaude as the legal seller. These Terms govern your use of the service. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Lécaude lets you track work hours, adjust time entries, and create, brand and share invoices. Some features require a paid Lécaude Pro subscription.

Your account

You must be of legal age, or have authority to bind the organization you represent. Provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including:

  • using it for any unlawful purpose or to issue fraudulent invoices;
  • sending spam or deceptive messages;
  • infringing anyone's intellectual property;
  • interfering with security — uploading malware, probing for vulnerabilities, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
  • reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service.

Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan. You keep ownership of the content you upload (such as your logo and invoice data) and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Lécaude Pro is offered monthly or yearly and renews automatically until cancelled. When you cancel, Pro access ends immediately. See our Refund Policy.

Service level

We work to keep Lécaude reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for checking invoice amounts before sending them.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.

General

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We may update these Terms and will post changes on this page.
